Shy or Stubborn?

Yesterday we went in to the doctor for our 3D ultrasound. We have been looking forward to this for weeks and what did our little munchkin do? He hid from us! The tech tried for 20 minutes to get a good shot of his face, but every single time, the little guy put his arm in the way! Not sure if we have a shy or stubborn child on our hands. We were able to get a couple of half decent shots, but the tech felt bad, so she asked us to come back next week to try it again. Hopefully we'll have better luck next time. The one thing we can tell from these pics is that our little guy has my nose. Technology is so amazing that we can see that before he is even born!! I tried to scan the pics in, but my scanner is having issues, so hopefully I can get that fixed by the time we do the redo and I can post those pictures.
We (meaning Frank) finished our fence last week and it looks good! Frank did a great job and it is nice to have our yard closed in. Not that we don't like our neighbors, but I think the plants in the garden appreciate the shelter from the wind! I was afraid our yard would feel tiny with the fence, but in a way it feels bigger.

And I had to post a picture of our latest baby purchase. I'm usually the one at the store who says "oh, that's so cute, we have to get it!" when we look at baby stuff, but Frank found these shoes the other night when I was trying on some clothes and I couldn't resist because he was so excited about them. He took this picture against one of his shoes to compare! He can't get over how tiny everything is for a new baby! I can't wait for him to be a daddy!

Baby shoes will definitely be my vice if and when we ever have kids. They're definitely the cutest (in my opinion).
