I got tagged by Ariel so I thought I would do one post that is not about Kyson...
1. I gag myself almost every time I brush my teeth. Yup, Frank thinks its pretty funny and tells me I shouldn't stick my toothbrush down my throat, but I'm really not. When I was pregnant it was even worse and often turned into more than gagging.
2. Raw meat grosses me out. I hate to touch it, I hate the smell of it (especially chicken). If at all possible I avoid it by having my nice hubby cut it for me when I'm cooking. If he's not around, I make myself gloves out of sandwich bags so it doesn't touch my skin. I'm also super paranoid about eating meat that is not fully cooked so sometimes our food ends up overcooked just so I can be sure.
3. Along the same lines of #2, I'm all about avoiding contamination...lol. Things that have touched raw meat or eggs have to be washed right away and I have to scrub my hands before I touch anything else. I drive my mom crazy at her house because I remind her to wash her hands all the time when she is cooking. In public bathrooms, I use a paper towel to open the door when I leave. At home I always have the urge to throw away the rag after I clean the bathroom, so my new favorite thing is the lysol wipes that you throw away!
4. I'm cheap. Or lets say frugal. That sounds better. I am always looking for the best deal on everything and I love to find a bargain and then brag about how much money I saved. Frank has to talk me into buying things for myself when we are shopping and my most expensive shoes/clothes are things he has bought for me or made me buy when we are shopping together.
5. I was raised on a dairy farm but never really learned to like milk until I was pregnant. I used to eat my cereal and then dump out the milk.
6. I miss being pregnant. Yes, I know everyone complains about being prego and it was rough toward the end, but I loved it! I love having my little guy here but I miss feeling him kick from the inside and how special I felt carrying a baby. Maybe cheesy but so true that I got to partipate in the miracle of growing a baby!

OK the first 3 are TOTALLY me. My husband thinks I'm so anal and while I don't use baggies to handle raw meat I just dirty like 4 forks and knives to avoid using my hands. lol
Oh I didn't know you were THAT worried about cross contamination. I remember one time in Wasatch 303 I accidently ate a cucumber that touched raw chicken marinade and you were way grossed out. Now it makes a lot more sense:) Thanks for the sweet comment. I am thankful for you too!
Hey Arianne, I'm glad you found my blog. It was fun to see all of your pictures and see what's new with you guys. We should definitely get together sometime.
I still miss being pregnant! I think I was just so thankful to get the experience. :)
