Yard and Garden

We finished up our sprinkler system and got out garden planted a while back. Seems like our garden has died and come back to life a couple of times, but it is growing okay now. We have part of one side of our fence up as well.

We built a little fence around our garden to keep the rabbits and mostly the neighbor kids out of it. We took off one side of our garden fence for a while so it wouldn't get in the way of our neighbors getting their fence put up. During that time it acted as a very good tumble weed catcher!


This is about two weeks after we had the hydro seed done. A little bit patchie so far, but hopefully it thickens up.



This is right after we planted our garden....looking at this picuture helped me realize that I live in a desert.


Here she is, The rookie of the year gardener. We both really had no clue about gardening, but we are stoked that stuff is actually growing. Our tomato plants had literally turned black, shrivelled up, and died, but now they are on a come back...


...and we have ONE tomato! Break out the food storage bottles!
