Pantry Shelving

So I never did take a before picture. I guess I could run to a neighbors house since half the people in our neighborhood have the same house. Anyway, Our Panty, which consists of the wall opposite of our washer and dryer used to have only 3 wire shelves that went from wall to wall (A 6'8" span) It was very disorganized.

I had to make sure I had the entire project almost done before I started installing it so that all are food wouldn't end up on the floor or on the kitchen table for a few months.

On the left is a 5'8" cabinet we will use for our garbage, broom, and cleaning supplies. And then I started to work my way over installing 3 equal sized cabinets. Only the cab. with the garbage will have a door. For some reason I thought it wouldn't be too hard installing the 3 smaller cabs but I was sweatin' pretty good.

I Cut out all of the pieces and stained the face frames at my cabinet shop boss's shop and put them together in my garage. It would have been easier to put them together at the shop, but I didn't really feel like putting them on my ski rack. So here are some more pics of how it went together...

My pantry is not big enough to get a full shot, but this is the top portion before I put the molding up.

I finally got the crown molding up and also the molding on the sides. We have started filling it up but haven't decided where everything is going yet.

Way to go Frank. Holly wants me to put up crown molding in our house- what do you charge? Let's see if we can work out a deal.
