Christmas 2008!

We had a wonderful Christmas this year! We were able to spend time with both mine and Frank's families. We were with my parents the 21st-24th, then flew to Oregon on Christmas Eve. It was nice to see everyone, but after 10 nights away from home in 3 different beds, we were all happy to get back to our own beds (especially Kyson). I think we are all sleeping a little better now that we are home.
Kyson and Grandma Bateman by the tree- he loved to look at the pretty lights on Grandma's giant tree!
Our cute little reindeer family! We took about a million pictures with these antlers on!

Mommy and my sweet boy

One of the highlights of our Christmas was giving this present to my mom. We delivered it and put it by the tree at her house about a week before Christmas and she went crazy wondering what it could be!

She opened it to find this:
Frank spent a lot of hours in the garage building this wishing well for my mom's yard. It turned out so good! She was so surprised and she loved it! She saw one like it a couple of years ago in my sister's neighborhood and told us about it, so when we were visiting my sister at Thanksgiving, we went to see it and Frank took some measurements, then came home and worked his magic! He was able to finish it all except for staining in just a couple of weeks. I have such a talented husband and it was so fun to give my mom such a special gift!

Wow way to go Frank, that is an awesome well. What mother in law wouldn't eat that right up? As always, Kyson is cute! I'm glad you had a good Christmas.

You are the man Frank. I need some lessons when I come to Utah again. By the way, Happy Birthday. By the way, this is Dave, the earlier comment was from Amy, but I agree with her.
