Elk Lake!

I only have a few minutes because we are about to take off on another little getaway, but I wanted to catch up on our last one before we do! We spent all of last week in Oregon with Frank's family. Most of that trip was spent on the annual family camping trip at Elk Lake. We were blessed to have beautiful weather this year! Kyson did great and we had a lot of fun camping! Here are a bunch of pics of our trip! Kyson's favorite toy of the trip: a sword one of his cousins brought.

We even had to let him have the sword so we could take pictures without him screaming.
A mosquito landed on my cheek right as this picture was taken, but it's so cute of Kyson with his new teeth. He went from zero to 4 teeth in the first 2 weeks of July!
On the hike

We also got to see Jesse and Josh and their little boy Dax! That was definitely one of the highlights of our trip for me!
Kyson had his first ride on a swing and he loved it!
These two little guys loved each other! They had so much fun playing at the park together! You would never believe that Dax is more than 4 months younger than Kyson! He is so big and so cute! Too bad we don't live closer to each other because I'm sure we would be having lots of playdates!!

YAY! I am so glad you came up and we got to see you. I can't believe how big Dax is compared to Kyson (and white!). It was so good to see you and your cute little family. The picture where Kyson is standing up and looking back at you totally reminds me of Frank!:)

Is Kyson stabbing Frank in the heart with that sword?
I am so sad we missed each other. What is the deal? I was just in Oregon and Utah. Why where we not in either of those places at the same time?
I am glad you had a good trip. Kyson is as cute as ever.

I wish we could see you today, hope you are having a fun little get away and we'll catch you next time! I can't believe how big Kyson is getting (except when he is next to a baby that is twice his size!)
