Ho Hum, Still Waiting

Yup, that's right, no baby yet. We do still have over a week until my due date, but we are getting so anxious to meet our little boy! I should be posting a new (hopefully final) picture of my pregnant self, but since the camera is packed in my hospital bag, you probably won't be seeing any pictures until the baby gets here!

We had a false alarm on Sunday night/ Monday morning. I woke up at 2:00 am for one of my many nightly trips to the bathroom and I was in a bit of pain. So, I tried laying in different positions and walking around the house to see if it would stop, but it was still there and I started to get a little excited thinking maybe I was in labor! I accidentally woke Frank up around 3:00 ( I ran into the ironing board in the dark and the iron fell to the floor with a big thud, lol), and he took good care of me while I had contractions for the next couple of hours. I have such a cute husband! He gave me a nice long back massage and even dug my exercise ball out of the closet and pumped it up in the middle of the night so I could sit on it. Since we don't have a baby yet, you can probably guess that the contractions eventually stopped and we went back to bed around 5:30. Oh well, he can't stay in there forever right?

The middle of the night adventures are just beginning. Wait for your little one to come.

I hope your labor and delivery is a good experience. These last several days will feel like the longest in the world, but I promise it is worth it.

Good luck! I can't wait for him to come! It really is so funny how when you are pregnant time seems to stand still and it seems like forever and a day before you'll get to meet your baby and then they arrive and time literally seems to fly! Next thing you know, your little guy will be crawling all over the place...

Hey Annie, I am so sorry I missed your shower... things have been a little crazy for me lately. I had work that night. Anyway, I am so excited for you. Babies are such a blesssing and they grow up so fast. So many people would tell me to enjoy having the baby inside you because you won't sleep or do anything once they come out but I disagree, they are so much fun! Good luck

I had a funny dream the other night that you had your baby (it was a girl, but you still named her Kyson) and you went to the grocery store the next day and I ran into you. Then you told me that the baby was 12 lbs when it was born. Also, Frank was running through the parking lot telling everyone that he was a new daddy :) I woke up laughing and I hope that makes you laugh too! Can't wait to hear the exciting news!
